Weeks turn into days

01 / Origin
I decided to start OneShotLens after a moment in the summer of 2026 that fundamentally changed my sense of what was possible. I was working with agentic AI for the first time in an institutional setting. The results were too good, too fast to ignore.
The learning curve was intimidating, but achievable. You could brainstorm a thought, vet an idea, and build a prototype within an hour.
Success compounds. Curiosity is rewarded. Problems start to feel more like puzzles than work. Every issue becomes an opportunity to solve something in a new way.
The space is moving quickly, and OneShotLens is my way of staying close to that frontier, testing what is actually useful, and continuing to push how far these tools can go.
02 / Name
The name OneShotLens came from a thought I had as I started to see real momentum in what I was building with AI. When the problem was framed correctly and the prompt was good enough, something that had previously taken several steps could suddenly be carried from beginning to end in one click, or one shot.
The phrase stayed with me. Over the following weeks, as I kept experimenting and the wins started to compound, I found myself coming back to it.
Once I realized the connection to photography, one of my favorite creative pursuits, the idea took on another layer. OneShotLens is an evolving experiment in filtering the noise, refining perspective, and exploring the frontier of transformational technology.
